About Ben & Sheri
Ben and Sheri both started swing dancing individually in 1998. When they met in 1999 (at the Derby in Los Angeles), they became good friends and practice partners. With encouragement from friends, they started competing in 2000 and since then have consistently placed at the top in national and international competitions. Most recently, Ben and Sheri won first place at the 2005 National Jitterbug Championships in the Showcase division (choreographed division). With encouragement from friends yet again, Ben and Sheri started teaching their craft and soon had a supply of local private and group lessons as well as invitations to teach at other events around the country. Known for their desire to keep the dance fun, creative, and social, Ben and Sheri take pleasure in keeping their classes both entertaining and educational.
