PSDS goes shopping at Design Archives on February 4 for Swing Dance Era day!

Kit Rodenbough of Design Archives will offer a special 15% discount to all PSDS members - guys and gals alike!  She's pulled out both authentic and recreated 1930s and 1940s styles especially for those of us who are looking for that look as well as pieces that are also "danceable."   Kit has incredible knowledge about the fashions of each decade and she is highly skilled at pulling looks together!  This is the perfect opportunity to receive some individual attention from an expert stylist!

 

Tour de Dance 2012 
 The Piedmont Swing Dance Society, Inc. launches Tour de Dance 2012 beginning Saturday, January 14, 2012.
"Join PSDS on the Tour at any "Stop." Final stop and prize drawings will occur at the PSDS Sock Hop on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Oriental Shrine Club, Greensboro." 

"Third Friday Swing STEPS: Special Topics & Enrichment Practice & Social."  "February 17, 2012; Cultural Center, Studio 302a; $2 suggested donation for the evening. Third Friday Special Topic for February:  Learn the Shim Sham Shimmy; 7pm;  No partner or experience necessary. Swing dance practice time from 8:00 - 9:30 p.m. followed by social time at Cafe Europa."
